Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Parmo: who may use it, how gigs, story checks and rewards work, and what each side owes the other.
Effective 1 November 2026 · v2.0
The agreement
These Terms are a contract between you and RAVEMANIA, Nicolas Palfi, Tersteegenstraße 15, 40474 Düsseldorf, Deutschland (“Parmo”, “we”). They cover the Parmo app for promoters, the Parmo web app for organizers and the Parmo website. By creating an account, or by using any of them, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Parmo.
Two further documents form part of these Terms: the Privacy Policy and the Account and Data Deletion Policy.
Who may use Parmo
- You must be 18 or older. Promoters confirm this in the app before they can take part.
- You must be able to enter a binding contract, and not be barred from our services by law or sanctions.
- One account per person. An account is yours: do not share, sell or transfer it.
- If you act for a company, a venue or a brand, you confirm you are authorized to bind it, and “you” means both you and it.
What Parmo is, and what it is not
Parmo brings event organizers and promoters together. Organizers publish events with a brief: which stories to post on which days, and what promoters get in return. Promoters ask to join an event or accept an invitation, post the stories on their own Instagram account, and receive the reward at the event once the stories are verified. The arrangement about that promotion is between the organizer and the promoter. Parmo provides the platform and checks that the stories went up and stayed up: we are not a party to the promotion, we do not provide or hand out rewards ourselves, we are not your employer or your agent, and we are not the organizer of any event listed.
Promoters act independently. Nothing here creates employment, partnership, or a joint venture. You are responsible for your own taxes and for any social-media disclosure the law requires of you, including labelling a story as advertising where you receive a reward for it.
Events, gigs and proof
- An organizer sets the story days of an event, the time each story should go up, and how long it must stay online (24 hours unless the event says otherwise).
- Asking to join an event is an offer. A gig exists once the organizer accepts it, once the event accepts it automatically under a rule the organizer set (such as a follower minimum), or once you accept an invitation.
- You create and post each story yourself, in Instagram, on the account you connected to Parmo. Parmo never posts for you.
- The only proof is Instagram’s own record of a live story on your connected account, posted within the story day: from the posting time on that day until 06:00 the next morning, in the event’s time zone. If several of your stories fit, you pick the right one in the app. A story Parmo cannot confirm that way is not verified, whatever else is shown to us.
- Each story counts for one story day of one gig only.
- Deleting the story or disconnecting Instagram before the required time online has passed means the story cannot be verified, and the reward is not earned.
- You keep ownership of your story. You must not buy followers, engagement or views, and you must not use bots. Doing so voids the gig and can close your account.
Rewards and handover
- Rewards on Parmo are given in kind: a guest-list place, a free ticket, a drinks balance or VIP access, as the event states. An event may offer a better reward to promoters from a follower count the organizer sets; which reward applies is fixed, based on your follower count at that moment, when you earn it.
- You earn the reward once every story of the gig is verified.
- The organizer hands the reward over, either automatically one hour before doors open or by hand, as the organizer chose for the event. From then on the app shows you your door code and, for ticket events, a ticket file the organizer uploaded.
- At the door, the organizer’s staff type your door code to check you in. Each code is for one gig; a code that was already used is shown to the door staff as used.
- The organizer alone is responsible for providing the reward and for the event itself, including entry. Parmo does not provide, guarantee or replace a reward.
- No money moves through Parmo. Parmo is free for organizers and promoters, holds no funds and makes no payouts. If we ever introduce a fee, it is shown before it applies and only for events published after that.
- Rewards in kind can count as income. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax on what you receive.
- If you disagree with an organizer about a reward, settle it with them first. On request to support@parmo.io we tell both sides what our story check recorded for the gig. This does not remove your right to go to court.
Your content
Anything you upload to Parmo stays yours, such as event flyers, story material, brand logos and ticket files. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display it as far as running the service needs: showing an event and its story material to promoters, showing brand and event pages on our website, and handing a ticket file to the promoter who earned it. Flyers, logos and story material can be opened by anyone who has their link.
Stories you post stay on your Instagram account. Parmo does not copy them; it keeps only Instagram’s identifier for the story, when it was posted, and its reach and view figures, as the Privacy Policy describes.
By uploading you confirm you have the rights to the content, including from anyone appearing in it, and that it is lawful. We may remove content that is not, and may keep a copy where we need one to handle a dispute or a legal claim.
Copyright complaints: send the work concerned, the URL on Parmo, and your contact details to report@parmo.io. We act on valid notices and remove repeat infringers.
Connecting Instagram
To have their stories verified, promoters connect an Instagram professional (business or creator) account through Instagram’s own login. When you connect it you authorize Parmo to read your Instagram user id, username, account type and follower count, your live stories, and the reach and views of the stories you post for a gig. Parmo never publishes anything on your account. Your use of Instagram remains governed by Meta’s own terms, and Meta may change or withdraw that access at any time. Parmo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta.
What you must not do
- Break the law, or use Parmo for anything you know to be illegal where you are.
- Count a story posted on any account other than the one you connected, or misrepresent your reach.
- Harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone, or upload content that is unlawful or infringes someone else’s rights.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or overload the service, or bypass its access controls and rate limits.
Suspension and ending the agreement
- You may stop at any time and delete your account, as the Account and Data Deletion Policy describes.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or that we are required to act on by law. Where it is safe and lawful to do so we tell you why, and you can reply to us.
- Deleting a promoter account removes its gigs, including rewards not yet used at the door. Deleting a business removes its events, and with them the gigs and rewards of the promoters on those events.
- Sections that should outlive the account do: content licences we need for evidence, liability limits, and governing law.
Availability and changes to the service
We do not promise Parmo will be uninterrupted, and we may change, add or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what you get, we will tell you in advance. Story checks depend on Instagram’s API: if Meta changes or withdraws it, some stories may not be verifiable, and neither side owes the other for that.
Liability
Parmo is not a party to the promotion between an organizer and a promoter, so we are not responsible for what another user does: an event that is cancelled, an organizer who does not provide a reward or describes it wrongly, or a promoter who does not post. We do not vet users beyond the checks described in the Privacy Policy. Our liability for our own conduct is set out below.
We are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under any guarantee we have given, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual duty, meaning a duty whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of this contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for a contract of this kind. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. These limits also protect our employees, representatives and agents. If you are a consumer in the EU you keep every mandatory protection your local law gives you, including the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days where it applies.
You will indemnify us against claims by third parties arising from your content or from a breach of these Terms that you are responsible for, up to what the law allows.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Germany, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also sue, and may only be sued, where you live. We would rather fix it first: write to support@parmo.io and we will try to resolve it within 30 days.
Changes to these Terms
We tell you about a change by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the version and date at the top of this page change with it. A change that materially affects your rights or obligations applies to you only once you accept it in the app. You may object to any change and close your account free of charge before it takes effect. Minor changes, such as terms for a new feature or wording a new legal requirement makes necessary, apply once the notice period has passed.
If you got the app from Apple
These Terms are between you and Parmo only. Apple is not a party to them, and the following applies to the iOS app:
- Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, any failure to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of service when using the app, including Instagram’s.
